just for fun.... The universe is not winding down, it is expanding. Since it was first formed the universe has done nothing but gotten bigger
From NASA
"Observations with the Hubble Space Telescope (HST) get at another aspect of the Universe's expansion. Besides giving us a precise measure of the expansion rate, recent observations of very distant supernovae show not only that the universe will never stop expanding, but that itis actually accelerating-expanding faster and faster as time goes on"

Some people will use this to backup the big bang theory. But its already written in the Bible
Isaiah 40:22 was written between 701 and 681 B.C
Take a look at what it says
It is He who sits above the circle of the earth,
And its inhabitants are like grasshoppers,
Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain,
And spreads them out like a tent to dwell in
Did you read that?
Look at the first sentence. " Sits above the CIRCLE of the earth"
It wasnt until 240 B.C that people started to think the earthy might be round. An Egyptian named Eratosthene did research and formed the idea of a spherical earth. Even then it took hundreds of years for science to prove that the earth was round
Now lets look at this sentence "Who stretches out the heavens"
NASA didnt prove the universe was expanding until the 20th century
Just to make sure it wasn't a mistake, the Bible clearly mentions an expanding universe several more times
Job 9:8
"He alone stretches out the heavens..."
Psalm 104:2
"; He stretches out the heavens like a tent..."
Isaiah 42:5
"... He who created the heavens and stretched them out"
It is also mentioned in Zechariah 12:1, Jeremiah 51:15, Jeremiah 10:12, Isaiah 51:13,
Kind of cool that the Bible written thousands of years ago is still accurate and science is just now catching up and proving what was written
