this is posted on the jeep site.
XJ
Cherokee/ Wagoneer
Uni-body construction

Wagoneer..........I rest my case soccer mom
#25
sorry... was that "long" or "lame"? My computer was going through a tunnel and I couldn't hear you very well...
#26
Swear I'm crying right now... when I went to get the title for the XJ switched over, they had body type listed as "station wagon"! Sorry to rat myself out like that, but all I could picture was you laughing and laughing and pointing it out to everyone at the DMV and me trying to mark through it with a Sharpie trying to write "XJ! It's an XJ!!!! Not a StationWagon!!!" :P
#27
lol and you are trying to bag on my jeep. Thank you for posting that I was having a very bad day until that.
#28
It's all good brother. It's all good.
#29
Alan there is a GOOD point to the station wagon on the title!!
Trucks are required after a certain hight to have mud flaps, BUT our XJ's aka "station wagon" arent required to have mud flaps after they are lifted.

psssst

im 99% sure your jeep is classified as a wagon too. The mudflap law doesnt apply to CJ's LJ's XJ's and TJ's :)g)
#32
Yeah... I don't want to say too much, I never know when I'm going to need a solid axle rescue

PS. My license plate started with VNN

No Chris nice try but as you know I just got mine not to long ago and let me check.....yip no wagon. lol
#35
Actually what Chris means is that we all want to be classified as a wagon. Unless you want us all to look East coast with full tire coverage flares, always sporting doors and a top, and additional lower push bumpers.

Some high and mighty Craiglist guy actually emailed me this broken english comment in response to my giving away of my mud flaps when I was building the X up:
just so you do know it the mud flaps has nothing to do with keeping it off your nissan it's a street legal with out the mud flaps your suv is no longer legal to drive on city streets just figured you should know that a cop can pull you over at any time and ticket you for it

My response back:
Oh, so very helpful.

You must be from another state other than Arizona, or drive a tree hugging Honda Element, b/c there is no AZ law stipulating a vehicle must have it's wheels covered. That's why Jeeps here can run sans fenders on any hwy. Check it out, the old law on the books still allows uncovered wheels because SUV's and the like actually fall under the "wagon" definition. So stick that in your grammatically incorrect tail pipe and smoke it.

speaking of smoking something... can you believe what Nate did to his Jeep?

I like the spinners, nate. Nice touch. Takes away from the chrome tube bumpers...

Hang on... I think the kids want one. Let me go build them a Jeep "like daddy's"...
#37
Ah... Happy Kids.

#38
and of course... who could forget the "barney phase" that Nate went through when he painted his Jeep, joined Prince and the Revolution, then went to Planet xwingx! (yes, there was a period WAY back in the early 90's that I do not remember very well that I suspect contribute to these stories...) Nice firehat, nate.
