Anybody else notice Google Earth...
#1
Has updated a lot of the Phoenix area?
Steve told me he noticed his house zooms further in and is a lot clearer.
I confirmed with my home and then Chris's house (no grass yet in your yard though- but it does look like a tree is missing).
No Jeeps visible though.
I think Chris should paint HigherGround4x4.com on his roof for the next pass over ;)

Ayone else like to re-run trails on GE and look for vehicles?

hah, get me a banner and Ill stick it on the top of my back porch, no one but planes and sattelites will see it, but would be cool if google earth picked it up

Hey cool! I found Jared's Jeep: at my work.
We must've been having a lunch date or something.
You can even see his hood vents:

Of course they were

Do I have to update my google earth or something? The West Valley pictures (my house, CCV, the kids school, etc...) and the East Valley (where I work off Scottsdale Road) are the same as they've been for the last year... just my bad Karma, or is there a rhyme and reason to it?

hmm im using the online version, maps.google.com and its updated for me. I think its about 8 months old
#11
OK. I usually use the online version, but I actually downloaded the google earth program to just make sure... my bad Karma, then.
#12
I'm using the program, but it pulls from online
#13
Kewl. Yeah, I get the same images both ways... so maybe the just updated your parts of town. It does seem like the zoom clarity is better, though. What a great program!
#14
Yeah, I did notice Jared's house is still not built
#15
cant find me anywhere, even looked at the mall :(

"I once was lost, but now..."

With the downloaded version can you hook up a gps and track while out wheeling?

I have a subscription but only use the online (main program downloaded but still gets pics on line), can you use the downloaded version even where you don't have internet access?
