In Chandler Arizona (a suburb of Phoenix) there is a serial rapist on the loose. All of the 12-15 year old girls who have been raped by this man have given a similar description. The suspect is described as Hispanic, 5-feet-8, wearing a white t-shirt and jeans and boots.
The police are sharing this information with all the local media in the hopes of getting some information from the public that will help catch this son-of-a-bitch. But local Spanish language radio stations are refusing to include the word “Hispanic” in the description because they feel it unfairly targets the Hispanic community.
That’s right. Despite multiple witnesses saying the rapist has brown skin, dark hair, thick eyebrows, and speaks fluent Spanish… they won’t admit that he might be Hispanic. You see, it’s racist to target the Hispanic community…
I can’t even believe this.
The fact of the matter is that about half the people in the Phoenix area are Mexicans. In the neighborhood where the little girls are getting raped, the population is more Mexican than anything else. The witnesses said the guy was Hispanic. This isn’t racism at work. This is the police trying to get an accurate description of a serial rapist on the street so people can be on the lookout.
If it was a white guy, say it’s a white guy. If it’s a black guy, or an asian, or an albino, or a midget with a sombrero… it’s not racial profiling to say it.
This is racism: “There’s a serial rapist, and we don’t have any witnesses, but it’s probably a damn beaner.”
This is not racism: “There’s a serial rapist. Multiple witnesses have described him as Hispanic.”
How f’d up in the head is someone who puts political correctness ahead of catching a guy who is raping 12 year old girls? These radio stations are doing a disservice to the community. If the rapist turns out to be a Mexican, I hope the families of these little girls sue the crap out of them.
