...received a call from my wife telling me that she got a big, unexpected check in the mail. About 3 years ago the company she worked for filed bankruptcy, laid everyone off, and never paid them out their time worked or remaining benefits. She finally got her settlement from that in the mail. Should cover a chunk of the vet bill we racked up last week.
