with friends like this, who need enemies, right Bob?
Give me that pen and blank paper of yours... I'll show you nothing to look forward to.

I think this is Moab Hype Withdrawl syndrome, or MHW for short. Has nothing to do with the wife and kids. :)=)

Speaking of Darko, I had no idea the sister version was out on DVD!

very cool.

Are you defining day 1 as Hell's Revenge, or the actual drive up there?

I can't wait to see the "XJ Cam" shots.

also, completely unrelated, caught the last 45 minutes of "sleep with me" from 1994. eric stoltz starred in it (been catching a lot of his 'odd' movies lately. the passion of ayn rand being one of them...), but it had friggin craig sheffer (the program, river runs through it, etc... but really was well known as the snotty rich kid in the some kind of wonderful, also with eric stoltz. quentin tarantino was in it - the sleep with me movie. parker posey too (i love anything she's been in from house of yes to party girl... i even liked her role in you've got mail for goodness sake. don't know why i like her, but i do... also, there was another movie in 1995 that eric stoltz was in that is one of my all time favorites, but i can't find it anywhere, but it was called kicking and screaming - not the will ferrell soccer movie, but a cool movie with eric stoltz, parker posey, olivia d'abo, josh hamilton, etc... one of those twenty something movies). some nights i miss being able to go to the afterthought. you guys would have liked that place. despite my lack of capitalization and the appearance of rambling, this is a sober writing... just an odd night with old memories that came a callin'. odd thing, memory... what's the counting crows line? "if dreams are like movies, then memories are films about ghosts" that's one of my all time favorite lines...

So by "quitting smoking" you really meant, "I'm moving on to the heavier stuff" ?
#1415
yes.

I just discoverd a line of t-shirts that have Ayn Rand quotes and themes. Pretty funny. Taggert Transcontinental. Roark Architecture. Howard Roark Laughed.

anyway, found it funny, but approporiate that someone was stealing intellectual meterial for their own capitalist gain. Ironical, eh?

- 8 hour drive up Friday night.
- Hit the trails all day Saturday and maybe a little on Sunday morning.
- 8 hour drive back Sunday afternoon.
- Sleep 5 days at work.
- Repeat

I was going to go to a car show in CA but out of cash. It was just as far to CA as Moab.
