As long as you talk back in a different accent it's ok

A couple more simple things that make me smile:
When I look through my rear view mirror, I see my Higher Ground sticker all the time and it reads correctly because its reversed image is reversed.

When I have to type up contracts and it has a "not responsible for acts of God" clause.

------------------------

When people type lol in their tm's, emails, pm's or posts, I picture them laughing out loud and see if it fits.

hahahahahahaha... lol. :p

Even when its not good Photoshop, I tend to picture things literally in Photoshop.

I apologize in advance, but here's an example.

As some of you may have seen on Face Book...
Today at work one of my co-workers were listening to the radio (98) now I only hear bits & pieces of this morning show... However today I heard more than I wanted to, a constant stream of what consider to be a "cuss" word / OR taking God's name in vain. So after hearing it 10 times I spoke up and said "that's enough" when asked "What?" I replied "That radio station and taking God's name in vain" and the response I got was OH... so here it comes a few more times, So this time I made it clear that I was taking offense to it... still it stayed on, so I walked out of the office, stood out side for about 15-20min then returned to work by then the station was changed.
I know it may not be that big of a deal to some but to hear that over the radio again & again & again... ugh :(
So I filed a complaint with the FCC :)

If I had a clapping smiley face I would post so you will have to picture me clapping for you.

When I walk through automatic door... I always pretend I am using The Force.

Michael likes this :)

Another small joy in my life, when you're driving and you get to watch the all the large powerline towers align into one as you pass them- A poorman's variation of the better view of watching the bridge pylons align when boating under the long roads over the swamp, or watching the running man out the window as the field rows go by.

My brother-in-law, Silversides, the one who married into the cool YellowSub Jeep but doesn't know how to use the computer to save his life or to post here, has a problem text messaging back too. So after the first unresponsive text, I like to send ever increasingly uncomfortable short pieces of stories sexual in nature until he responds back.

I confess I am going to start doing this too just out of fun.

You'd think I'd be worried that he could turn the tables and do the same, but I've already heard enough from the sis, and her versions sound much much shorter.
#393
lol! That's hilarious.

a little to close to my Arkansas and your Louisianna roots for my comfort. You don't have to share everything you know, you know.

You missed The Point.

Sorry Paul :/

No, I got the "much much shorter" jab... still uncomfortable that your sister talks to you about it at all.

I hate feeling trapped professionally. I need to refocus on my "fulfillment" not coming from work, but coming from the Lord.

I have a great job that is a blessing and provides well for my family and I fall into the self-pity trap of expecting it to make me happy too.

I forget that sometimes, and when work lets me down (as it inveriably will), it kinda sucks.

I lose sight that the things of this world are not permanent and I need to refocus my energy on things of substance and of enternal value.

I ate so much candy last night, I'm pretty sure I'll poop an intact Snickers bar sometime today.
