Looking great Bob.

I'm going to a hamfest at Devry (I-17 and Dunlap) next Saturday. You going to be over there working on it then? I could stop by and help after the hamfest.

Thanks for the offer.
I'll be working on it but its just going to be getting the bolts tight and setting the pinion... stuff like that. Its going to be up on the rack most of the day with Ryan under it.

Yeah Alan no worries boss. Like Bob said no harm no foul. I always get a little tense up there when so many people are around, and then when kids are up there it gets even more hectic because they need extra watching when so much is going on. Glad you brought them up to see the progress however.

This thing is so close to being done.

Oh man that'd be so awesome. If that happens let us know and I'll have to get Chris to trade me his for the morning for a three Jeep salute in the lot.

No Jeep parade tomorrow.

hood looks tough nice job! :cool) I'm scared to ask about the rest of the project 8|

No. There were some bugs in the ignition/engine but that's all resolved. Radiator problem solved. Steering pump, cooler, and new shaft configuration complete. Winch mounted and wired. A lot of other wiring cleaned up. Front brake line tubes ran in place. The shop had to close early so it's not that we ran out of things we could do.

Weekend update.

First things first.
THANK YOU MIKE!!! You are the best and I owe you more than I could ever repay you!

Now on to the Jeep.
Sat.
Got the power steering box on and the cooler in. Mike found a good safe spot for it.
Got the jeep running. I didn't hook up one little plug and the jeep didn't like me...8|
Mike did his master touch to the hood and made the Jeep mine.

Sun.
Mike was at the shop when I got there! The hood was up and all the wires were ziptied (sp?) and all clean looking.

I started on the brakes again. Got the new brake lines on and all hooked up
Mike Got the hood on and reworked the hood pins to fit. Looks so much better!

So as it stands the brakes are done but need to I need to bleed them.

Going to stick with the 5.5 springs in the back for now and see how it works on the trail. I can always lower it a little.

Subs are in and Mike fixed the cd player.
The steering needs some work but we fixed the leak. Mike noticed it was leaking out a hard side cap. Few turns of the wrench and it was fixed.
The lockers work.
The brakes got bleed down again and now stop.
The CB is hooked up but I need to do the mount.

Drove it for the first time.

So I hear there was a problem with the Memory wire? Had it pulled out of the crimp?

Couldn't trace back to why or where it was shorted. I just jumped it over from the lead. I'll just run a new unswitched wire to the fuse box for memory later.
