Weather looks to be about mid 90's during the day and mid 60's at night. Just about perfect for wheelin/campin.

Not a problem at all, Randy. That's half the fun. There are so many things to do, we can break into groups, have a great day, then gather again at the end of the day and swap stories. Built can go climb scary things, group trip to scenic stuff, rock climbing, mountain biking, tough day ending up in the pool. LOL

I am going up the week of May 5th. We call it "Cinco de Moab." I usually meet up with some people from New Mexico.

I called him, yes he is Nspector. I did not know that. Funny.

I used to work at 94 rock. Rob and I put on a show at a club named Cheers back in the 80's, and I moved to PHX in 89 and he stayed. I have known Rob for many years. We were computer hackers for a while and then we took up 4X4ing. Last year MOAB scared the living hell out of me. Intimidator on flat Iron Mesa was a trip! I may try to go out for both trips. I work on the reservation alot. I just finished gas station on the way to Moab in Tuba city. It is a Giant store selling Shell gas. I build stores for Giant AKA Western refining. So I get to Albuquerque alot.

OK, sidebar, not a hijack...

Jennifer and I are planning a family Moab run for Spring Break 2010 with the kids. The trails would be more scenic than hardcore, and Arches National Park is in the picture. We'll probably look at a cabin or hotel room, instead of camping, but you never know. The facilities were GREAT at the campsite, so we may do that for family camping.

What week is spring break? Dates?

I think Labor Day Weekend (First weekend in September) would be quite hot out still.

I vote for Memorial day weekend... Now the question is do we go the week before and have that monday to rest and relax or do we go week of?

I'm screwed if its Memorial Day weekend either way, since my annniversary is the 25th of May, that weekend is always family anniversary/renew my marriage for another year weekend. :)=)

I would not be available for Moab that weekend, either before or after. :rockon:

Memorial Day is good, warm yet cool. I like the week before idea with that extra day to clean the dirt off. I'm getting nervous already.
