Counting calories with food is where I plan to start. I've done it before and you will be shocked at your unregulated input is. I wouldn't be surprised if I take in over 10,000 calories on some days. I plan on eating less than 2000 calories and exercising at least 3 times a week. (Probably hiking as mentioned in my original thread.)

Not so good for your body though. You don't end up cramming after your skipped meal? That'd make me hangry (hungry+angry).

to answer your question, not really, after doing that for awhile most food that had high fat or greasy made me sick to my stomach

I plan on frying everything in bacon fat to lose weight. or I am going to do Bob's method of watching what I eat the portions... crash course Atkins method.

May I also do the on you honor system with the picture? I would rather not post a picture of my wieght on line. I can weight in with the nurse here at work and she can document it at the begining and the end. How many people are in the contest?

Same rule. You need to make sure you have a pic take as proof. If you win you will need to post the pic. If you can live with this then ok.. If you are not ok with this then you will need to sit this one out.

what do you think about having everyone email their starting pic to loserclub@higherground4x4.com that way we have a record of it and its not posted online. Safe guards it for everyone so its legit since theirs money involved

then those who want can post starting weight online too

This is cool you guys, and even tho I need to lose a few, I won't be joining you. But here are a few pointers from a professional dieter and fitness geek:

1. Write down everything you put in your mouth. Studies have shown the people who keep a food journal lose a lot more weight than those who don't. You don't even need to count the calories or anything; just write EVERYTHING you eat in a cheap little note pad. Supposedly it keeps you more aware of what your doing along with your goal.

2. Walk! Park far from the front door. Use the bathroom on the next floor or next building. Walk to lunch. Walk the dog. Walk to chill after work before you make dinner.

3. Throw away all your junk food. It will scream out your name at midnight of the 5th day of your challenge; and you will eat it!

4. If you exercise, combine exercises to expend energy faster. Work out for 20 to 30 minutes tops, but completely exhaust yourself in the doing. Squats + Curls. Push-Ups + Leg lift. Lunges + Shoulder Press. Wear yourself out fast!

5. Drink at least 2 liters of water everyday. It will help trick your tummy into being full AND it will help rid your body of toxins associated with burning fat.

6. Try to eat only the food God gave us; Plants and Animals! (Perimeter of the store, don't go down the aisles)

Now, if I would only follow my own advice! Good luck to everybody who accepts the challenge!
