Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.

Never take Viagra and laxatives on the same night. You won't know if your coming or going.

When ya get a chance, post the under fender mod support pics. thanks for the add

<minor hijack alert: check out his album in his profile... not only does he sleep on the toilet, but he's got a SWEET Rubi. Really nice rig. Now back to your regular programming...>

Welcome
Do you mean the front support?
Really just a slice and dice thing. Make a cut in the middle all the way up until each side of your triangle no longer touch. I used a grinder as far as would go and then a dremmel to get further in for the rest

Niether Offroadaz or Yellowsub did anything to "fix" it although if not a simple tack weld, a bolt could actually meld the support sides back together once bent past each other.
#28
Thanks, I'm guessing nothing was done to the other support.
#29
Yes the other support was trimmed to to allow it to stay on the same fender mount but still move up on the tub.

I still have a few things to proof but here is the official write up:

AC line that runs between the fuse box and air filter box? What was done here?
#31
All it needs is some gentle convincing.
It'll move up. Just lift up slowly until it sits right.
#32
So Sleeps, how's the mod going?
#33
It finally got busy at work, so I havent had the time to tackle it. right now rubi is my dd. but I look at your work daily and drool.
#34
i would really like to do this mod. when you guys bent the fenders to fit in the new spot, how did u bend them?
#35
Once we had the support cut, and then all the bolts back in... drumroll... we stood on them. Just get some equal weight on the top of the fender and get to where you want it. It can take it.

hah yep, I was nervous at first, but they really did support allot of weight

thats awesome. i've been thinkin about tube fenders but just dont want to spend the money cus..well i just dont have it, ha. this would be the perfect. i'm just a little warry about having to change around everything under the hood.
#38
another question. about how long did it take you to do the front fenders from start to finish?
#39
The comfortable way to do it would be a weekend for the front and a weekend for the back.
If you had everything at hand and two willing people the front could be done quicker. It's the reinstalling of components to fit that can take the longest.
