Saw several of these in Moab. It's a Collared Lizard and apparently when chasing prey, they often run on their hind legs, with their front legs and tail raised off of the ground... giving it a look of a miniature T-Rex. I am amazed at how cool they look, so I included 3 pics :P

Saw this guy in Moab, too. Looked just like a black bird... same size and everything but pretty colors. He is a magpie.
