I just explained to the curious kid behind the counter at Walmart that I was updating my Zombie plan

fu%ked up a cops morning.

I was headed to visit with Skatchkins when I noticed a cop pulled along side of my street, just ahead of me. I had a "violation question" to ask, so I drove up and intended to pull in front of him and stop.

Long story short... I drove up towards him and, all of the sudden, two doves fly in my path! One bird does a flyby right across my windshield. The other tried to stop and turn but I whacked it with my right side mirror going about 35mph. The darn bird ricochets RIGHT into the cops window and bounces off the inside of his windshield. It caused the officer to spill his coffee all over himself and his laptop!

I mashed my brakes when the bird impacted me. As I come to a screeching halt I was almost side-by-side with the officer. All I hear is, "sh!t, sh!t, SH!T". I yelled back, "Sorry! I didn't throw a dead bird at you! It bounced off my Jeep!

Luckily, I had some napkins in my glove box from a recent trip to Chipotle's. Lucky he had a sense of humor! We had a good laugh. Story goes on for a while longer, but it was pretty boring crap.

told my 6 year old son that we're not throwing him a 7th year birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese or Amazing Jakes (which would be less than 2 weeks from now).

Just rooted my droid and updated the op system to 2.2.1 only to lose ALL my contact info and text msges. Thought I had backed it up but only backed up the sim card. Also had my contacts sync to gmail but it never did sync.

Started my Masters in Nursing classes.

Just found both a picture of the Dodge and the Jeep in two separate image searches.

finished up the small group Bible study outline for tonight

saw a vw vanagon sporting i think 31 bfg mtr's carded him so maybe he will sign up.

I just got out of 3 days of power development meetings with our software developer. I'm drained, but happy. Now I can get back to loafing on the board. whew!

Last night at work, I was telling one of my coworkers about my nursing school clinical experience where I got to see a crazy extensive surgery on a guy that didn't quite achieve his goal by putting a gun to his head. After talking to her about it for a couple minutes and telling her some gruesome details about it all, she says, "I told you that my dad shot himself in the head last August right?" :(

ran my last wire, buttoned up the Jeep, and am ready for final installation of my alarm system/keyless entry and backup flood lights.

an excited roofing customer from Nebraska who's been commenting on all our Higher Ground pics in the shop just told me his buddy's going to haul his Razor down here for him so he can "do all the stuff like you guys.". He then asked, "So you can you tell me some of your good trails I can take this thing on?"
I told him the country club has a nice course just down the street.
"Wait What??? Really? .....so you're one of those."
