Did a tune up on the Dodge, changed the front diff fluid, and replaced both u-joints on the rear drive shaft.. Still need to do a trans service, rear diff fluid, and oil change.
The back end of this stupid truck likes to shake right around 65-75 mph. I've had the tires balanced 4 different times by 3 different shops, each saying that they were out of balance when I brought it to them but did not appear any weights had been thrown. So, my mind went to maybe the drive shaft is causing the problem.. Replaced both u-joints and nothing changed. Maybe the drive shaft is out of balance? But the characteristics of what it's doing and when it's doing it don't make me believe that completely. Other thought was maybe the track bar is allowing a "death wobble of sorts to happen? It's pretty mild but enough that you can obviously tell something isn't as it should be.
