I just...

Had a delicious lunch and a great conversation with Alan. :))

It's been too long since I've seen you guys. When's the Christmas party?
#6222
I think there is a thread on the Christmas party going on here. I think the final date (Chris, please confirm) is the 19th at my house.

Had a great lunch and I agree, it's been too long my brother. Check out #slack like I told you about. We miss you.

and I just (yesterday) ordered my lift kit for the Fool Size and she goes to the Transmission shop today. Hope to have her drivable in the next week or so.

Once i get confirmation on the ship date of the lift kit, I'm going to have a weekend at Andrew's house (lift, power tools, welders, regular tools... did I mention a LIFT?) for a lift kit / wrenching day if anyone wants to join for beer and pizza. Got a pretty good list of undercarriage things I want to do, so it will be a Friday night (prep, clean, and paint), then Saturday (lift, tires) thing. I'll check with Andrew on the dates, but Yukon has agreed to sponsor me (hehe) as a media truck, so we'll also be doing new gears, locker, and shafts for the old girl. I don't think we'll be doing both on the same weekend, though. Good times! :-)

Will do. Actually, I think the Yukon thing is more of a bribe from them to keep doing what I do with LROR than a sponsorship, but hey... I'll take it. ;-)

I'm in. I'm Fridays through the end of the year if you need any other help.

I will help out if I can. Bubba is in Cub Scouts now so my weekends have gotten very busy. I am the Assistant Cubmaster.

A.) Hello brother!!!

B.) Very cool. (Do I have to call you Assistant Cubmaster Boone going forward... you know, like official rank and stuff?)

C.) Christmas party is the 19th. Mark it down Mr. Assistant Cubmaster Boone - formerly known as Mr. No Longer Working Night Shift.

I just....

... relinquished the racing number 4511 back to Ultra4 for reassignment - that was more emotional that I thought it would be ...

... took my racing number off the truck since the 4511 is no longer me ...

... took the wrap off the race car since it's no longer the 4511 and not longer an ESAB car ...

... sold my camper yesterday ...

... and I just realized I am going to need a new Avatar for my online identity. After 4 years I've kinda gotten used to it being wrapped up in the 4511.

Scott will be fine. Yes, it is on my calendar and I am planning to be there with Bubba. Already have an ugly Christmas sweater. Now I need to get a gift.

You are always a great comfort in my time of need. I wouldn't mind a lovely shot in Baja with the Sea of Cortez and a fishing shack in the background either...

Why does Safeway keep KY in a vending machine? It's a separate, on-machine payment for it on the toiletries isle even though it has a UPC code so the cashier panics when it's still in your cart during checkout and she can't scan it with everything else.
