Thanks for the cudos on the Jeep. I have had fun with it but not as much as I wanted (afraid to destroy it :( ) Down time really depends on how quick it sells. I want to build a buggy so I need to start some research once this one is gone. I am thinking about buying a frame (or having someone build me one) and then start looking for parts. I want something I can beat on this time.

Just got off the phone with the ins company. They are sending out a guy to look at the jeep and see what its going to cost.

After 30min of humping the floor trying to get it back in, I gave up for a while and limped my butt to work.

The ins guy just left. My jeep has been totaled. I find out on monday what I get and if I can buy it back.

Hopefully they give you something decent for it. Do we need to come over and strip it of all the good toys before they decide to take it?

It could be bad... My jeep isn't much to look at... Dents paint missing. 4cy with 114K on it. The guy said he wouod make sure to note that it had the cage and seats and winch...

If they aren't going to give me much I am going to strip the thing. 4:1 tcase d44 and shafts. spearkers. winch... and anything else I find that I want.
